Blessings Thrive Church Family,
As you may have heard, in response to the novel Coronavirus the California Department of Public Health and our state Governor has recommended that all gatherings of more than 250 people be suspended. We are being encouraged by our Assembly of God Network Executive Officers, as well as other Assembly of God officials, to heed the counsel of our state government in this matter and exercise wisdom to avoid unnecessary exposure to our precious people.
As such, Thrive leadership, comprised of the Pastoral staff and Board of Directors, have decided to suspend all public gatherings on our Thrive campus. This includes Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and any other gatherings that take place within the walls of our campus. This suspension is currently planned through the end of March, as recommended by state authorities.
This decision is based upon several important ideas:
The good news is we are not canceling our Sunday Experience! Rather, we are just changing the way we meet! Starting this Sunday, March 15th-March 29th, our services will be available online. You will be able to worship, study God’s Word and give … ALL online!
Here is the link to the Sunday Experience: Online Experience
Here is the link to give online: Online Giving, or text an amount to give to (209)-353-8599,
To reiterate, we feel this is the best way we can protect you and our community, particularly those most vulnerable among us. Please join us as we continue to pray for a swift end to this virus and that through this, God will touch the hearts of those who are fearful.
I also want to inform you that:
Please check our website, your email and social media for information regarding plans for other Thrive events.
Please share this information with those who call Thrive home.
Finally, we wanted to leave you with a promise in God’s Word concerning times of uncertainty and unrest: 2 Timothy 1:7 – For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
So, hold your peace! Let the Spirit empower you to confront the times. Love others in this season of challenge. And let us be wise.
Thrive Through This!
